     Chris has inspired me to open my heart, to look deeper into the Universe, to use my talents more than I might have otherwise. Casual conversations at the cliffs under the setting sun have inspired some of my favorite paintings. His cheerful, open-hearted presence has inspired tiny ideas that turn into full-blown series of paintings or photographs.  He is a constant source of joy, amusement, interest, love, humor and vitality that I can only hope and pray stays in my life for some time to come. He is the definition of a true friend. He tells it like it is, but gently. And is always, always ready to hear my stories. He is the kind of person I want to be.
