 Jefferson Jay specializes in creating and maintaining an environment where the good vibe
can flourish and thrive. Our energies are all connected. Jefferson
tries to create a positive nurturing space for people and musicians
specifically to be comfortable and grow to fulfill their potential.
Through his music, his commentary as host and his outlandish style,
Jefferson provokes people to consider things from a fresh perspective.
All his work is based in his beliefs that we are meant to enjoy our
lives, everything happens for a reason, that there is a unifying
beautiful truth beneath all our endeavors, and that our powers are
magnified infinitely when we recognize that we are all one and begin to
act with that as a primary part of our guiding principles.
I
have flexible prices at my studio depending on the nature and details
for the project. Can be as little as 50 bucks a song for those who are
properly prepared.
I know Chris Zach as a positive contributor to my Tuesday night Open Mic and Thursday night
singer/songwriter band showcase programs at Portugalia. Chris has
always been congenial, uplifting, and professional in all my encounters
with him, including through the process of recording his first record,
the EP "Welcome to the Good Life". Those sessions were a delight.
Chris was prepared and positive. I was moved emotionally through the
process of recording the title track "Welcome to the Good Life" in a
way unlike any I'd ever experienced before in my recording career. I
believe this speaks to the energy and spirituality that comes through
Chris's music. I look forward to working with him much more and
growing closer as friends in the months and years to come because each
opportunity to do so is a true gift.
